‘Brand New Custom Painted Arai for returning client and Ultimate Karting Championship driver Jay Pearson ‘

Local Karting driver Jay Pearson was one of our first clients when opening X-Paint and this is now the third helmet they have commissioned from us.

They took a chance when we were starting out; our website wasn’t live, we had very little portfolio to show and they trusted us to get the job done.  This time, they wanted a new helmet as well as paint and so we were able to provide a brand new Arai SK6 freshly painted and all in time for the first round of the Ultimate Karting Championship.

The design brief wasn’t a far cry from the previous helmet that we did for Jay, but needed to match the colour scheme for Jay’s 2024 season.  We also added a flash of flags on the top of the helmet to really set it off.

We try to support our local riders wherever we can, especially an up and coming racer like Jay who is dedicated to his sport and putting the work in.  Keep an eye out for his progress in the Senior Rotax class in the Ultimate Karting Championship.
