We specialise in helmet paint but we can paint anything.
We were one of the first, producing custom painted helmets in the UK way back in 1990. Over the years we have painted helmets from the leading brands such as Arai, Bell, HJC, Shoei and Simpson – these are just a few of our favourites to work on. If you want a new helmet then we can source it for you from our network of suppliers, that is, if it is not already available in our store.
We are now based on the Isle of Man but can ship worldwide.
2. DESIGN PROCESS
We can supply computer generated designs or hand drawn renderings of your helmet paint or custom paint design at a cost of £50 per project. Sometimes letting the design evolve organically produces the best results so we encourage you to trust the process if you dare?
3. LETS PREPARE
The finished work is only as good as the preparation. A clean white surface is a good starting point, a new crash helmet is perfect.
Using only the best automotive materials we will mask your project to make sure that all of the critical features are protected.
5. IN TO PAINT
Once masked it’s time for paint, more mask and possibly more paint.
6. AIRBRUSH ART
For custom projects the next step of the process is the airbrush work. The more complex the design the more time the airbrush process will take.
7. THE FINISH
Once we have completed the paint and airbrush then it’s time for the clear coat. This will protect the work for years to come.
8. FLAT AND POLISH
We may need to flat and polish your project for that perfect “billiard ball” finish.
9. OVER TO YOU
Once your project is finished and any rebuilding or fitting has taken place then it is over to you to show it off to your friends and enjoy it. The occasional polish with a good quality product will just make it better over time.
