‘X-Paint recently completed this design for a local kart racer on the Isle of Man.

This X-Paint custom painted Arai SK6 was commissioned by a local kart racer on the Isle of Man. We started with a neon yellow base and went from there, we seem to have a bit of a run going on Arai SK6 helmets, they are a great helmet and we can do great deals on a new Arai SK6, so get in touch via the contact page if you are looking for a new Arai.

Over the yellow we have used a metallic and sky blue, a gunmetal grey pearl then various blacks, whites and greys. Over the top of the helmet runs the airbrushed chequered flag and Arai logo. The helmet is crowned with a three legs of man on traditional red background.

We finished off with a subtle hexagonal graphic that fades in and out over the blues and grey!  

Everything on the helmet is either painted or airbrushed we don’t use any decals in our paintwork, we stick to old school custom paint techniques. So as usual there was a fair bit of masking involved in this design

As with all our designs we focussed on this job from start to finish, we don’t run a production line each helmet takes up 100% of our focus for the duration of the work required.
