X-PAINT NEW CREATIVE SPACE AT CREED GALLERY..
After 38 years of custom paint, X-Paint is entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of our new creative space within Creed Gallery.
A NEW SHOWROOM, A NEW CREATIVE SPACE AND A NEW CHAPTER FOR X-PAINT
After 38 years of custom paint, countless crash helmets, motorcycle projects and more late nights than we care to remember, X-Paint is entering a new chapter. For most of that journey, the focus has been simple: create the best work possible, keep learning, keep improving and never stop pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with paint. Today, that journey takes another significant step forward.
We are delighted to announce that X-Paint now has a dedicated showroom and creative space within Creed Gallery. At first glance, it might appear to be simply a new location. In reality, it is much more than that. It represents an opportunity to expand what X-Paint is, what it can become and the type of projects we can now take on.
The new showroom will feature a rotating display of custom-painted crash helmets, artwork, one-off projects and new concepts currently in development. Visitors will be able to see completed work up close, discuss future commissions and gain a better understanding of the thought, design and craftsmanship that goes into every project. But the bigger story is not the showroom itself….
The bigger story is what the showroom makes possible.
MORE THAN JUST HELMETS...
While custom-painted crash helmets remain at the heart of X-Paint, the future is about much more than helmets alone. Motorcycle tanks, fairings, body panels, airbrush illustration, custom artwork, collector pieces and larger commissioned projects are all areas we are actively developing. For years, many of these ideas have existed as sketches, concepts and conversations. Now we have the space, the environment and the partnerships to begin turning more of those ideas into reality.
There has already been investment in new equipment to support that growth. Alongside pen-and-paper concepts and hand-rendered artwork. A new design workstation has already arrived and will play an important role in the development of future projects, allowing us to create concepts faster, present ideas more clearly and explore new creative directions.
As much as we enjoy starting with pencil, paper and traditional design methods, the reality is that modern technology opens exciting possibilities for both the artist and the client. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern digital tools allows us to develop projects in ways that simply weren’t possible a few years ago. We hope you’ll take the opportunity to visit because there is far more to see than custom paint alone.
Creativity On The Walls
One of the most exciting aspects of the move is the environment itself. Creed Gallery is not simply a room with pictures on the wall. It is a space built around creativity, imagination and the appreciation of exceptional work. Every day we are surrounded by contemporary artwork and established artists.
Inspiration is quite literally hanging on the walls around us.
The gallery environment creates opportunities that would never normally exist within the motorcycle world alone. It opens the door to collaborations with artists, collectors and enthusiasts from completely different backgrounds, bringing fresh ideas, new perspectives and exciting creative possibilities. Some of the most interesting projects happen when two worlds collide. This new environment increases the chances of that happening every single day.
Visitors coming to see X-Paint will also have the opportunity to experience the wider gallery itself. Whether your interest is motorcycles, artwork, design, collecting or creativity in general, the combination of gallery space and working creative studio creates an environment that is genuinely unique.
The Sandown Connection
Alongside the showroom, another exciting development is the growing relationship between X-Paint and Sandown Coachworks. Many people know X-Paint for custom crash helmets, behind the scenes there has always been a desire to work on larger projects, more ambitious commissions and bigger creative challenges.
The partnership with Sandown creates opportunities to do exactly that.
Sandown Coachworks has built its reputation around producing exceptional refinishing and repair work on prestige vehicles. Their facilities, expertise and commitment to quality are second to none. The level of paint preparation, colour matching and finishing achieved within the Sandown group reflects the same attention to detail that has driven X-Paint since 1988.
For the first time, we now have access to an environment that allows us to think beyond individual crash helmets and towards much larger projects. The scale of work we can undertake is increasing.
The quality of work we can produce is increasing.
Our production capability is increasing.
Quite simply, many of the limitations that existed in the past no longer exist.
The possibilities are becoming significantly bigger.
The Next Chapter Starts Here
The move into Creed Gallery and the opportunities created through Sandown Coachworks represent far more than a change of address. They represent the beginning of a new phase for X-Paint.
For nearly four decades we have built our reputation one project at a time, focusing on craftsmanship, creativity and the belief that exceptional work will always find its audience. Those values remain exactly the same. What has changed is the environment around us and the opportunities now available to us. We now have a dedicated showroom to display our work, access to world-class facilities, investment in new equipment and technology, and a growing network of talented people who share the same passion for quality, creativity and craftsmanship.
The projects will become bigger.
The ideas will become more ambitious.
The collaborations will become more exciting.
And the story is only just beginning.
Over the coming months we’ll be sharing new helmet projects, artwork, design concepts, behind-the-scenes content, workshop developments, gallery installations, rider stories and some exciting collaborations that are already taking shape behind the scenes.
The website will become more than a portfolio. It will become a living archive of the journey, documenting the projects, the people, the ideas and the creative process as it unfolds.
If you’ve followed X-Paint for years, thank you for being part of the story so far. If you’re discovering us for the first time, welcome aboard. Either way, now is a great time to keep an eye on what happens next.
Follow us on Instagram, TikTok and X for regular updates, but most importantly, keep coming back to the website. This is where the full story will be told, where the latest projects will be unveiled and where you’ll be able to watch the next chapter of X-Paint take shape in real time. We’ll be sharing new work, new ideas, new collaborations, new products and a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of X-Paint as it grows beyond custom-painted helmets and into something much bigger.
The paint is flowing, the ideas are growing and the workshop lights are on.
