This is the Broke Tings piece that started it all

— genuine carbon fibre off a Ferrari 488 bumper, mounted, backed with a painted panel, then worked over by hand until it looked like this.

Broke Tings Ferrari 488 salvaged carbon fibre wall art with broken heart motif, full piece

Broke Tings was never really about motorsport parts specifically. It’s about anything broken that somebody loved — a part, a panel, a piece of something that meant something before it got wrecked, broken or just gave up.

Motorsport’s just where the first pieces came from, because that’s the world I’ve spent 38 years in. Bring me a broken guitar, a smashed heirloom, whatever it is — if it’s got a story, I’ll work with it.

The board itself is built the same way X-Paint finishes high-end kitchen doors and interiors — same MDF, same layered process, just pointed at something else this time.

Commissions are open now, customer-supplied parts with provenance attached.

There’s more coming from our own side too. A smaller limited-edition run based on this Ferrari bumper piece is going into the shop. There’s also a new piece underway built around a genuinely damaged Rolls-Royce part, written off recently — same idea, different car.

This piece itself is for sale and will be up in the online shop soon — for now, enquire direct if you don’t want to wait.
