We have some very big news. X-Paint is putting together a race team. We have the mechanic, we have the infrastructure and we have a top class rider who has just returned from a long injury and shone at Brands Hatch. The foundations are in place, we just need a bit of help with the rest….
MEET THE Team
Dan and I raced together in the 90’s and early 2000’s in New Era on 600’s and later Dan did the R6 cup while I did the Pro Bike Grand Slam followed by a bit of British Superstocks. Later in life (2016) we raced together again in the British Mini Bike Championship. So when Dan put his lad Ruben out on track I was interested and ready to help where possible
Iain Nosaint

Ruben Bray
Racer, the official X-Paint Factory Rider. If you are in the paddock then you already know that Ruben is one of the fastest 13 year olds in the country. If not for bad luck and injury added to a lack of funds at times, at least one National Championship should have been sealed. We are here to put that right in 2026.
Dan Bray
Dad, Driver, Van packer, lunch maker, pit board, biggest fan, biggest critic, bloody good mechanic, ex racer.
Dan knows what it takes to run at the front in fast company. Riding in the debut year of the R6 cup in 2003 Dan’s competition was Crutchlow, Hill and Cummings to name just a few. James Hillier is Ruben’s uncle.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Of course there are sponsorship opportunities. Racing motorcycles has never been what one would call a cost effective sport. X-Paint is a small company and we help where and how we can, but this opportunity is bigger than us. Ruben has returned full of confidence and has shown what he can achieve after sitting on the sidelines for months. Once fit, we have a very serious pilot with race winning potential out of the crate.
THE BIKE
Kawasaki ZX-4RR, Kove 450RR Pro, Yamaha YZF-R7 are three potential models but the championship is open to any manufacturer in the sector with a performance equivalence of 73hp. The bike is one of our biggest expenses.
Tires
Along with crash damage the Tyre budget is one of the scariest columns on the spreadsheet for 2026. We wont get much change from £400 per set and may need two sets per weekend. If we can get someone to sponsor our whole tyre budget then that is kind of a big deal and will lead to lots of exposure for that company or individual. However, the tires are also a great way to dip your toe in the sponsorship water so to speak. You can sponsor us for just one round or one set. £400 will get you a spot on the bike, kudos on the website and a great deal of thanks in every interview and press release, buy us £400 worth of tires and we will return £1000 worth of exposure.
Entries
Surprisingly expensive for a team, but a great entry level expense for a sponsor. Enter us for the year and you will be one of the main sponsors of the bike, enter us for a round and its a cheap way to get your logo on a bike in the British Superbike paddock for the year.
The list of incidentals is long, it ranges from leathers to fuel and there are opportunities for sponsors at every level, X-RACE appreciates any and all help that we can get.
GET INVOLVED
The bike will be one of the smartest on the grid, we will make sure of that at X-Paint. We have one of the UK’s fastest 14 year olds piloting it. We have the knowledge background and infrastructure to run a very successful small team in this championship. The only thing we are missing is you! So get in touch please!
