 If you are looking for old school then you have come to the right place. I have been painting helmets for a very long time, why haven’t you heard of me? I started painting helmets alongside the current leaders of the industry in the UK, but I branched off into the mobile phone industry and manufacturing, so for much of my painting career I have been on one sort of production line or another.

I also branched out into another form of artwork for many years but never forgot my routes keeping both my hand and my eye in along the way. In 2021 I started X-Paint as a bit of a side hustle and it has grown quickly since then.

It has not been smooth sailing but I have had some great customers since starting again and I have been having a lot of fun. So much so that I have decided to take a leap of faith and go full, full time for 2026.

I am starting where I left off over twenty years ago, using the same processes and working to the same quality as the old days. Everything is airbrushed on my art helmets and show paint, of course we can do race paint if you need something super cost effective and turned around quickly, but the majority of my work is proper custom paint.

What does that mean? It means everything is painted and we get the helmet as smooth as possible so that there are none of those nasty edges that ruin a design when you get up close.

It also means that the helmets last. I still have a race helmet from the early 2000’s that just needs a polish to shine despite being thrown into the back of the garage.
