Pre Season Testing, Spain 2025..

‘The Team made it to Spain and Ruben has been getting a taste for Spanish testing’

 It would be fair to say that the lead up to this trip was quite stressful. Simple plan, get the bike and van to Spain, do some testing, leave the kit in Spain and fly back, then go again to pick it all up and spin some more laps before driving home.

 So far so good, stage one of the plan has gone well and Ruben arrived at the Calafat kart circuit on Monday the 29th of December 2025 and got down to spinning some laps. 

Updates:

Have been few and far between, this is an excellent sign. As they would have been plentiful had everything gone wrong.

 What we know so far: The VW T4 will need a new wheel bearing and a tune on the injectors before the drive home, remarkable really for a van that has been stood for over a year then completed a 1500 mile drive without missing a beat.

Ruben sounds confident and feels like his is in the groove, Dan seems happy enough with his riding. Monday was spent at Calafat, on Tuesday they drove to Aspar and today the team will be at Valencia. 

In other News….

Ruben got to share the track with Aron Canet. You will see him briefly on the supermoto in the attached video. Ruben was a bit shocked by the Moto 2 style overtakes and was quite animated in regard to his speed and riding, it sounds like it was a good experience.

 Back at home base we have been dealt a blow. Before we even had a chance to launch the 89 Tribe (coming soon!), something we have been working on in the background, Valentino Rossi has only gone and launched the VR46 Tribe! The season hasn’t even started and we are already in competition with one of the biggest teams in motorcycle racing.
